Thank you so much for joining me on the frock coat journey! Next episode should be about making the waistcoat. I'll go into the details of how I finish pockets and collars there too.

The original coat can be seen here: https://digitaltmuseum.se/011023659201/drakt

Disclosure: I am a Baby Lock Ambassador, but this video was not created explicitly for Baby Lock and any opinions expressed about Baby Lock machines is the creator's genuine opinion from personal use. In other words, yes, I am a Baby Lock Ambassador. Baby Lock is not paying me to say anything nice about their machines. At this point, no one pays me to say anything.

Contest rules:

Please submit up to three historical pieces (either paintings, drawings, museum pieces) that you think should be digitized and remade in the comments below. At the end of the submission period - March 1st - midnight - 2020, I'll choose one that I will digitize and make. If I choose yours, I'll send you a sample of the embroidery. If it's something small like a reticule, or a fichu, I'll send you an actual item. If you choose something large like a waistcoat or a dress, I'll send you a sample of that embroidery pattern that you can cut up to make a purse or a pocket, or frame, subject to what the art piece will do best as. US only. Must be 13 or older to participate. Please give me up to six months to complete the project and get you your prize.
