I went to the DLC Early to grab Rellana's gear for a super fun base game + DLC run. Here's what happened.
Talismans and Physick:
I didn't recommend talismans for each fight in this run, as there are so many variables for this build (boss order/how many slots you have/boss weaknesses/stat distribution/ are you gonna parry?). Here are some suggestions for set-ups:
Physical Damage Set-up:
(For fights where you want to focus on standard attacks)
Fire Scorpion
Magic Scorpion
Ritual Sword
*Radagon's Soreseal
Physick: Dex-Knot & Strength Knot
INT/Faith Set-up:
(For fights where your weapon arts are doing the bulk of the damage)
Magic Scorpion
Fire Scorpion
Shard Of Alexander
Ritual Sword
Physick: Magic Shrouding & Flame Shrouding
Pure INT Set-up:
(If you're gonna use the Magic weapon art and spell)
Magic Scorpion
Ritual Sword
Shard of Alexander
Graven Mass/School
Physick: Magic Shrouding & INT-Knot
(Note: If the faith tear would give you 26 faith - use that instead, as Golden Vow will give you more damage than the INT tear at most levels)
Pure Faith Set-up:
(Fire weapon art + other incants)
Fire Scorpion
Shard of Alexander
Ritual Sword
Flock's Canvas
Physick: Flame Shrouding & Faith-Knot
If you're gonna parry, replace two of the talismans with the Dagger Talisman & Blade of Mercy.
*I don't think the consecutive hit talismans are a top priority for this build, but Millicent's Prosthesis would probably be a decent alternative to the Soreseal for some fights, if you want to do the questline.
