This video demonstrates a simplified version of agateware, or marbled clay, which is created by wedging two types of clay bodies together. An exciting marbled design is revealed when the pot is trimmed.

I am using red and white earthenware from Continental Clay Company and Amaco LG glaze in Clear Transparent.

The clay is bisque fired to Cone 04, then glaze fired to Cone 05.
