How to make a Volume Pedal For Guitar (or Attenuator for amplifier) just In 3 Minutes. It will be a very simple passive pedal. Which means you don't need any power supply or batteries. To make this stomp box I will use only the most basic regular details. And I even will not use a soldering iron!
For this DIY you will need only wire, guitar potentiometer, two jacks and a small cardboard gift box. It's not necessary, but I also placed the volume knob.
There are many uses for this volume stomp box. You can place it between any pedals on your pedalboard. I like to place it in effects loop on my combo. So then I can leave the maximum volume on the amp itself and reduce it with this DIY Attenuator.
