Whitney Sews | How to Make a Vanellope Costume from Thrifted Clothes @Whitney_Sews | Uploaded October 2022 | Updated October 2024, 6 hours ago.
The Central Oklahoma Goodwill challenged me to create a budget friendly, sustainable costume using clothing from the thrift store. I had a ton of fun shopping and putting this costume together!
I used an aqua hoodie, a brown skirt, red t-shirt, and two striped t-shirts plus fake candies from the craft store. I used the red shirt to add "candy" details to the hoodie and made leggings from the striped shirts (because I'm extra!). I forgot tomention that my hair twizzler was made from 6 pipe cleaners twisted together.
