On my PVC worm tower build several commenters didn't like the idea of having plastic in their gardens. Here is a super-easy-to-build worm tower made from terra cotta bricks and chimney flue pipe. You should be able to build it in about 20 minutes. It looks great, will last forever and is completely inert.
