Whitney Sews | How to Make a Stuffed Bear - McCalls 7849 Sew Along @Whitney_Sews | Uploaded June 2020 | Updated October 2024, 6 hours ago.
I was recently asked by McCalls to create a tutorial using their stuffed animal pattern 7849. The pattern features 3 different kinds of stuffed animals (a bear, a rabbit, and a llama). I'm showing step by step how to make View A for the bear that finishes 12 inches tall. If you are wanting to make a memory bear from baby/small childrens clothing this is a pattern to consider because of it's smaller size. However keep in mind that there are some darts and angles that need to be cut and sewn as accurately as possible, making it a little more difficult than the pattern shown in my other memory bear tutorials.
