Over the past month, baking sourdough has been my jam.
In all honesty if you can make bread just after watching this video alone I'll be amazed.
Just so yah don't leave hungry, here's the recipe I use:
To grow: know how much starter you have (Exact Weight). Plastic wrap on top and poke a few holes so it can breath. Add equal parts of whole wheat flour water, and let it sit for a few hours. Once you have 150 grams of starter, you’re ready to make a loaf. Only need a spoonful leftover.
Separate 150 grams into a bowl and add 300 grams of water (should float to top) gentle stir and leave it. In separate bowl add 530 grams of flour, and 8 grams of salt. Whisk up. Then add the starter water mix. Big sticky ball of dough. Cover it with a towel and let rise for a few hours.
Shape into ball and flour up. Scoop and pull underneath itself. Take another bowl and flour it, put flour on ball, then put a towel on top and then toss it in the fridge overnight.
Turn oven on and stick a pot in there to preheat (450), then dump the dough into the pot, and score the top. Put a lid on, bake for 30 min, remove lid and bake for 20 min. Let it cool for 30 min.
