in this video I make a scissor mechanism out of some 25mm aluminium box section. This was used as part of a Halloween prop and extends out of the box by about 6 metres or 18 feet. I first saw a prop like this in a Facebook video and thought I’d have a go at making one myself (although mine is contained within a large casket with automatic opening door).
