Hi everyone (this is Joanna from Maqaroon :D)! Thank you for being patient, Sweetorials has been a bit quiet lately as all members were very busy with their work and studies but we promise to be back in 2015 with lots of exciting new announcements and projects. Hope you enjoy this Christmas tutorial and have lots of fun crafting over the holidays.
This is a very easy needlefelt technique that can be adapted for all sorts of animals. I used polyester (plushy) stuffing to save wool but of course you can make the entire piece out of felting wool. TIP: In some of my videos you see me 'burying' black thread with the needle to create the mouth. However I recommend sewing it on if you want to create the kawaii " :3 " cat-style mouth shown here.
