Hi, hello! Today I'm sharing a new step-by-step silversmithing tutorial - how to make a silver ring with a brilliant cut gemstone and prongs! :) I'm using a gold filled wire for prongs and silver for everything else. This is a new design that I've never done before, so it was fun to experiment with this type of gemstone. I absolutely love the effect and I'll admit that setting a brilliant cut gemstone wasn't as hard as I expected! The steps of creating the bezel for this type of gemstone are quite straightforward and if you follow them carefully, you won't have any issues :) I hope you enjoy this video!
