This pecan pie has been on our Thanksgiving and Christmas table my entire life and I make them now every year for my family. This is my Grandma's recipe. I hope you like it.
Pecan Pie Recipe
3 Eggs
1 C Sugar
1 C Karo, light corn syrup
2 Tbsp. melted Butter
1 tsp. Vanilla
1/4 tsp. Salt
1 1/2 C Pecan Halves
Preheat oven to 400°F.
Beat eggs in a medium bowl. Add in the sugar, vanilla, and corn syrup. Mix and then add in the salt and pecans. Stir to combine everything. Prepare a pie dish with pie dough and crimp the edges. Pour filling in the pie dish. Bake at 400° for 15 minutes and then lower the temperature to 350° and bake for 35-40 minutes until the center is set. If the edges are getting to dark, cover with foil.
Let cool before slicing.
