This tutorial will show you how to create an armature, or skeletal framework, for a trophy head sculpture. Once the armature is created, it will be covered with paper mache and paper clay (pt. 2), then painted (pt. 3).

To create the armature, suggested materials include:
- cardboard
- newspaper
- masking tape
- sculpture wire or wire coat hangers (optional)
- scissors, X-Acto knife, wire cutters (optional)
- hot glue gun (optional)
