Hey! This video is a tutorial on how to make a One-Shot, or One Long Shot style short film.

1. ASSEMBLE YOUR TEAM

a. A solid Director who's exceptional with shot selection.
b. DP who can handle heavy blocking.
c. Sound Recordist with a mobile bag and Boom/Lavs

2. Casting

You need to cast solid actors who can handle
heavy dialogue and block.

3. Script Analysis Meeting

Breakdown the script for equipment, props, location,
and anything else you might need.

4. Location Scouting

Bring camera, sound, and lighting
to test on location.

5. Rehearsal

Rehearse as much as you can, especially
on location if possible.

6. Shoot it

a. Charge all batteries
b. Pack all equipment
c. Have props ready
d. Bring snacks and water

7. Edit / Post Production

a. Sometimes you can hide a cut if need be, but plan ahead
b. Sound
c. Color
d. Score / Music
