Join me as I make a Minnie Mouse red and white polka dotted dress to DisneyBound at Disney World. Shout out to my husband to being the Micky to my Minnie. We had so much fun DisneyBounding as Micky and Minnie when we visited the Magic Kingdom. We really enjoyed all of our interactions with the staff who kept referring to us as their "boss"
Now some of you might be wondering “what is disneybouding?”
Disney Bounding is wearing and outfit that resembles a Disney character without it being a full on costume. Because if you are over the age of 13 you are NOT allowed to wear a costume into the Disney parks, unless it is for a special event, such as Mickeys Not so Scary Halloween Party.
The main reason for this rule is because Disney has characters that you can meet already in the parks and it would be pretty weird if there were more than 1 of them running around.
Now what is the line between a cute outfit and a costume? From what I can find there is not an official line. Sometimes it may get a little blurry, but if your outfit goes all the way to the ground and drags on the ground that is a definite no- no, and if you are wearing a wig to look more like a character, you may have gone too far.
