In this CODE Along module, the focus is on gaming – specifically building a classic arcade game. In episode 2 of CODE Along season 5, you will learn how to build "Meteor Blaster" from scratch using JavaScript in the Microsoft MakeCode editor. Follow along as we program a hero spaceship to save the galaxy by blasting falling meteors out of the sky. You'll master essential game development concepts like using event blocks for sprite interactions, creating game loops to spawn enemies repeatedly, and using math blocks to add randomness to sprite position and speed.
