Create a fun Christmas Centerpiece with upcycled sweaters!
You Can Make This!
Supply List:
One 17-inch tall paper mache cone (Mine is from Hobby Lobby,)
One solid red sweater (look for cashmere or wool at the thrift store!)
One patterned red sweater,
Scissors, Sewing Machine, Tape Measure or Ruler, Straight pins,
Graph Paper and Pencil for patterns,
Felt - your choice of color for face,
Iron-on interfacing - at least a 6-inch square,
Oval die approximately 2.5 x 3.5 inches and die-cutting machine (optional)
Disappearing Marker,
Black Embroidery Floss, Needle,
Hot Glue Gun and sticks,
Thick white craft glue, craft stick to spread glue,
Long-pile good-quality craft fur,
One 1/4-inch round wood furniture button (Woodpile Fun! Hobby Lobby,)
Cosmetic Blush and cotton swab,
Embellishments for hat - I used black/white twine and mini pine cones,
Wire cutters or something else to cut pine cones.
