In this video I will be making a lamp that also charges your phone. This lamp will add beauty to your room and at the same time be very useful by charging your phone.
I have been wanting to make youtube videos for a while now but I just didn't know how to get started. I saw a video a while back from the Drunken Woodworker I believe and someone had asked him how to get started making videos and he told them just to start. You do not need any fancy equipment to make videos the important thing is just to make them and get started somehow. So... that is what I did I bought some lights for my shop so it would be brighter for the videos and I shot every part with a iPad mini, 2 exterior lenses, and a tripod.
In this video I am making a pair of lamps that have a USB outlet mounted in them so that you can charge you phone or any device. The lamps are made to go on a night stand and were made so that you can not tell there is a plug made in. I wanted the plug to behind because a plug is not the most appealing thing to look at, so with out knowing you just think it is a beautiful lamp. So I hope you like the video and he gives you an ideas and encourages you to make stuff yourself.
