This is the 2nd gripper. It is without guide wire. Its based on handmade wooden gear controlled my servo motor. The controller is the Arduino UNO. Code is taken from File-Example-Servo-Sweep and modified. Most of the robotic arm has fixed Base, Solder and Elbow. But the Gripper is chosen based on the application. An arm can be fitted with different types of following grippers as per the use case.
• Two fingers
• Multiple fingers
• Magnetic gripper
• Vacuum gripper
• Flexible gripper
Materials:
You also need MSD board, Arduino Uno board, SG90 microServo motor, Ice cream stick and some tool to make it. You can buy online from the following links:

Regarding Robotic arm I have explained about actuator, sensor and their simple use. Here I have a told about DOF / Degrees of Freedom.
