Using Aviation Gin from Portland, Oregon...Ann makes a well balanced cocktail, with fresh pineapple, lemon juice, simple syrup, French grenadine and topped with the sparkling goodness of soda water. It's a like a sparkling gin creek, cutting through the wildflowers in spring.
Can't visualize it? Well let's just say it's DAMN good!

The Gin Daisy
2 Pineapple chunks muddled
1 1/2 oz. (45 ml) Aviation Gin
3/4 oz. (22.5 ml) Fresh lemon juice
1/4 oz. French grenadine/homemade
1/2 oz. Simple syrup
Float a little bit of seltzer water over the top
Garnish: A lemon daisy or rose
Glass: Rocks Glass
