How to layout the geometry for a dog clutch and cut the teeth
Depending on your hole sizing and number of teeth you can greatly simplify the cutting geometry with 1 cut per tooth. The alternative method (not shown here, everyone else tends to do this) requires 2 cuts per tooth with the second cut requiring a lateral offset.
