This video will teach you how to craft a leather bracer. This tutorial guides you through the process of selecting leather for a wrist bracelet or cuff and then step by step shows you how to size and cut your vegetable tanned leather, apply leather dye and then back roll the leather to give it and aged look. Finally Levi talks about using a wax based finish to protect the leather. This was a leather bracer custom designed for the use as a Rey Cosplay Costume piece. The video is loaded with info that will be useful even if you do not want to make this bracer yourself. The video shows the process as I create a custom fitted leather vambrace to be used as costume armour for Cosplay. Some detailed hand sewing and some patterning tricks are also revealed in this build.
