When rainy weather looms, and you have no more space in the luggage, it's time to be creative! I determined that a cape was my best bet- but I knew that I needed varying styles and coverage in order to get the most out of this large garment. So a few 1910s and 1920s fashion plates were re-imagined as separates to create a multi function piece! I've only made one front and body at this point, but I've still managed to wear it multiple ways during my trip so far. It's a simple design at it's core and can be adapted to so many other patterns to fit you and your style! So let's bring back the cape.
