NightHawkInLight | How To Make A Bottle Bass Guitar @Nighthawkinlight | Uploaded December 2017 | Updated October 2024, 1 week ago.
In this video I build a bass guitar inspired by a video from the early days of YouTube. You can check out my inspiration for this project here (this is not the original upload, I seem to have lost it): youtu.be/APao25flL_k
The maker of that original bass guitar uploaded his own explanation of his build process which you can view here (I made some design changes for my own build): youtu.be/bzGJQliNIbo
This video was viewer supported by all of you who have contributed to these projects through Patreon. Thank you! A special thanks to my top Patrons: Syniurge, Matthew Leitzke, TheBackyardScientist, Enzo Breda Lee, & John Johnson!

Metric conversions (approximate):
Neck dimensions: 1.5 x 0.75 x 40 inches = 4 x 2 x 100cm
Fingerboard dimensions: 1.5 x 0.25 x 24 inches = 4 x 0.5 x 61cm
4 inch headstock = 10cm
34 inch scale length = 86cm
Thanks everyone!
