In this demonstration, I grab some roughly cut stock, takes it to our trusty Bridgeport, and machine all six sides of the stock using only two setups! I machined the stock into a 1-2-3 block, leaving approximately .03" of grind stock on all sides. The purpose of this demonstration was not to be precise right off the bat, but to quickly bring a piece of stock close to size by minimizing the amount of setups in the job; all while leaving some stock for grinding afterwards.
