Hey Guys,
As I am getting older, I have noticed that it has been more and more difficult to grow my hair longer. When I was younger my hair grew out so fast and I had to keep up with getting it cut very often. But now that I want to grow it to waist level it has been very stubborn and slow. In the past, I have bleached, dyed, tease,and heat damage my hair constantly. For the past year and a half I stopped dying my hair and used organic shampoo and conditioner on it. I also only air dried my hair after washing it. Even so, I still had a tough time growing my hair out. About 4-5 months ago, I started to do the coconut oil hair mask for once a week ( an hour ) and it helped a little bit. Then 3 months ago when I ombre dyed my hair (bleach was involved) and my hair was super fragile. Every day I would take a biotin supplement and once a week was the keratin treatment, while still doing the coconut oil mask once a week . (I spaced the Keratin treatment at the beginning of the week and coconut oil at the end, so there were no conflicts) For the past 3 months my hair has grown at least 2 inches! It is been shinier, healthier, and stronger than before. I hope my tips are helpful! Good luck on getting longer locks. XO
