⚙️ Method 1: Use the Shortcuts App (with small delay)
Open the Shortcuts app
Tap the plus icon to create a new shortcut
Add the "Lock Screen" action
Save the shortcut
Add it to your Home Screen or assign it to Back Tap
Note: This method has a small delay (around 5 seconds) before the screen turns off. This is due to how iOS handles shortcut-based locking.
⚙️ Method 2: Use AssistiveTouch for Instant Screen Lock
Open Settings
Go to Accessibility
Select Touch
Turn on AssistiveTouch
Customize the top-level menu or gestures and add the "Lock Screen" action
This method locks your iPhone screen instantly without any delay. However, the floating AssistiveTouch button remains visible on your screen at all times.
⚙️ Method 3: Use Back Tap with Shortcut
Go to Settings
Open Accessibility
Tap on Touch
Scroll down and select Back Tap
Choose Double Tap or Triple Tap
Assign your Lock Screen shortcut
Now you can simply tap the back of your iPhone to lock the screen. Combine this with Raise to Wake or Tap to Wake for a full no-button experience.
🧠 My Personal Recommendation
If you want the screen to lock instantly, go with AssistiveTouch
If you prefer a clean screen with no floating icon, use Back Tap with Shortcuts (even though it has a small delay)
