When you load CO2 and pellets into the Ruger 10/22 Air Rifle first make sure the air gun is on safe and unloaded. To insert airgun CO2 capsules, remove butt-stock plate, unscrew CO2 puncture valve, add one drop of silicone oil to each capsule. Insert two CO2 capsules, tighten CO2 puncture valve to activate CO2, replace butt-stock plate.

To load pellets: Remove magazine, release magazine lock by sliding it back and removing red magazine. Load pellets from the gear side of the magazine, then replace red clip back into magazine and push magazine lock forward. next, insert magazine into gun. The Ruger 10/22 Airgun can be fired single or double action by cocking the bolt each time or just pulling the trigger.
