How to get Surf in Pokémon Pokopia! 🌊 In this quick guide, I show you how to unlock the Surf transformation so you can swim across water and reach new areas in Pokémon Pokopia.
First, you need to create the Tropical Seaside habitat near Bleak Beach. Use the Rototiller to pick up four hedges located near the Bleak Beach Pokémon Center. Then head to the beach and find a palm tree close to the ocean. Place the hedges so they connect the sea to the palm tree. This creates the Tropical Seaside habitat where Lapras can spawn.
Lapras is a common spawn in this habitat, so he should appear within a few minutes. Talk to Lapras and accept his request to clean up mud on the beach. Bring Piplup with you and clean 80 muddy tiles. Once the beach is cleaned, talk to Lapras again and he will teach you the Surf transformation, allowing you to travel on water.
