So you want to learn the spells of the Gods? Well after you complete the mini-game you can earn that right.
Just cast the spell 100 times within the arena and you can then cast it everywhere. Pro tip: Stay near your chosen God or else the other non-believers will strike you down. In fact just attack your fellow believers and they will not get mad at you one bit!
