Installing herringbone tiles can be difficult but using my simple 1234 method, any beginner can do this chevron pattern with ease. I have used the herringbone pattern to tile my kitchen backsplash and I love the beautiful modern look it gives using cheap white subway tiles. I will talk you through the following steps:

- How to cut tiles 45 degrees using a manual tile cutter score and snap and a speed square
- How to cut tiles around corners
- How to cut a hole in ceramic backsplash tile for / around electrical power point outlet using an angle grinder a ceramic blade / disc
