The OCO launch is a class of recall launch techniques that I developed some time ago, allowing you to launch Link quite far vertically using a simple construction of two objects. It works in all known versions. Per many people's requests, I went ahead and made a detailed tutorial for the basics. Using the knowledge in this video, you should be able to launch Link with nothing more than a fan and a plank. There is much more that you can do with this technique than what is covered in this video, so further experimentation is left as an exercise to the viewer.

So far, this seems easier than the spear throw trick because its top speed is almost exactly half a revolution per frame, making it easier to pull recall at the right time.
I am still testing this, but I am excited about it!")
