This quick tutorial shows you how to knit a subtle zigzag stripe texture, which is great for beginners.
The pattern contains only slip stitches, knits, purls and yarn overs, which are all simple elements; the only slightly awkward bit involves holding the yarn over onto the right-hand-needle in order to pass another stitch over the top of it.
