This quick tutorial shows you how to knit a reversible broken rib stitch which consists of only 1 row of knits and purls...this makes it ideal for beginner knitters.
The resulting fabric is perfect for scarves because both sides look the same, and it lies nice and flat.

I also provide the circular pattern at the end of the video if you want it :)
