Get into the St. Patrick's Day spirit by knitting this free Shamrock pattern!
This Shamrock Knitting Pattern is a fun, quick knit that is perfect for celebrating St. Patrick’s Day. The shamrock is made by knitting three garter stitch, heart-shaped clover leaves, arranging them into a shamrock shape, tacking them together, and finishing with an i-cord stem.
Once finished, these knitted shamrocks are very versatile. Use them as an applique by hand sewing them onto a hat, tote bag, t-shirt, pillow or accessories. They also make charming decorations - hang them in windows around the home or stitch several onto a ribbon or crochet chain to create a festive shamrock garland.
