In this video, I’m starting a full lawn renovation by killing off my old lawn with Roundup so I can create a proper blank canvas for a brand new lawn.
If your lawn is full of weeds, weed grasses, moss, patchy areas, poor grass types or just looks beyond saving, sometimes the best option is to stop trying to fix what’s already there and start again properly. This is the first step in that process.
I’ll show you how I killed off my old lawn, why I chose to do it this way, what to watch out for, and how this sets up the next stages of a full lawn renovation including scarifying, clearing the dead grass, preparing the soil, levelling, overseeding and growing a new lawn from seed.
This isn’t about making lawn care complicated. It’s about showing the real process of starting again so you can get a thicker, healthier, better-looking lawn without wasting time and money trying to rescue something that needs a proper reset.
Always read and follow the instructions on the product label when using any weed killer or glyphosate-based lawn treatment.
This channel is about keeping lawn care SIMPLE. No nonsense. No sales pitch. Just honest tips and tricks to get your lawn looking BOSS in the cheapest and simplest way possible!
