Armyworms can destroy a lawn in a matter of days, but you have highly effective options to stop them in their tracks. In this video, we break down exactly how to kill and prevent armyworms using both synthetic and natural methods so you can choose what works best for your yard.
For the synthetic route, I’ll show you how to apply The Anderson's Duocide paired with a hose-end spray of Spectracide or Triazicide for a fast, effective knockdown. If you prefer going the organic route, we discuss using natural biological controls like BT (Bacillus thuringiensis) and Spinosad to protect your grass without harsh chemicals.
Finally, we go over lawn recovery. I'm putting down Lawn Alive to introduce beneficial mycorrhizal fungi directly into the soil, followed by a heavy dose of liquid fish fertilizer. Fair warning: it stinks.
