If your taper candles are leaning, I can’t help you emotionally… BUT I can help you fix it.
Sticky tabs sometimes work, but give them an hour and suddenly your candle is doing the limbo. I don’t have time for that. The foolproof solution is double-sided Gorilla tape placed along the base of the candle. Sometimes I even cut it in half so it’s not too tall.
And here’s the key part. Do NOT remove the backing. Leave it on. The tape creates a snug fit inside the holder so the candle goes in straight and stays that way, without permanently gluing it in place. Perfect candles. Every time. How about THAT for a decorating hack?
