To enable crossplay and invite friends in FIFA on PC, and basically on on console too, as the steps are similar, first go to the settings in the top left corner, Online settings. Matchmaking options, and here enable cross play.
Now, if you are on PC, press Tab, if you are on Playstation or Xbox press R2, and this will open up the friends menu. From this menu you can select your friends, or you can search for your friends on the search player tab.
If you have received an invite, look for it under Game invites. Tho, if you receive an invite you will get a pop-up notification to accept the match.
Okay, after befriending your friends, go to Online frendlies and setup the match by going to new frendlies season option. A popup menu will appear to select your friends. From here, things are intuitive.
If it doen’t work, some report that their problem has been fixed by going to settings, online Settings, and in Privacy settings they have checked every item.
Also, if you or your friend experience the error that the EA servers are unavailable, then just keep on trying to reconnect until you make it both into the match. Unfortunately, the servers aren’t that great, so you will have to keep on trying to reconnect until you and your friends can match. I hope this video helped.
