Here's a quick and concise video going over how to mod Super Smash Bros for Wii U, without having to dump your game files.

Note: Thank You.zip is not required to download, but without it your modding capabilities will be limited. Just downloading the modding pack is a work around to do very basic modding. Thank You.zip is a large file (6gb) so it will take a while to download. I would recommend downloading it, but the choice is yours. If you have problems and didn't download the Dt files, install those first before asking a question please. The DT AND LS are American files, so if your wii u/sm4sh is not from the US I cannot guarantee it will work. If not, you'll have to dump the game and get the files yourself.
