Before you even unpack the blinds, clean your windows—especially the outside. Once installed, you won’t be able to access the space behind the blinds easily. Starting with clean glass ensures a sleek result.
🔧 Tools You’ll Need:
• Measuring tape
• Small Phillips-head screwdriver
• Small flat-head screwdriver
• Pliers
• The new blinds (ordered to the right size)
• Optional: electrical tape
📏 Measuring Tips:
• Measure the inside width of your window frame
• Subtract 3 mm from each side to allow smooth fitting
• Leave 2 mm front and back for the thickness of the blind
• If you’re installing between-glass blinds, check if your window already has holes for the wire and mounts—you might not need to drill!
🛠️ Step-by-Step Installation Guide (General Blinds):
1. Remove the old blinds and all leftover parts
2. If no blinds were previously installed, measure and mark bracket positions carefully
3. Pre-drill holes to prevent splitting the window frame (leave 2–3 mm between bracket and glass)
4. With the blinds pulled up and held together using a strip of electrical tape, fit the unit into the open brackets—insert the back edge first, then tilt the front in until it clicks. Once secured, remove the tape.
5. Attach the twist rod and mount the rod holder
6. Tie off and install any cord stop or locking mechanism if included
🛠️ Extra Steps for Between-Glass Blinds
• Insert the guiding wire through the existing holes in the window frame—widen them with a 7mm drill if needed
• Feed the control cord or rod through the lower opening
• Gently tap the cassette to center it if necessary
• Stretch the wire by gently pulling the control rod downward, then fasten the rod holder in place
• Tie the cord at a suitable height and secure it using the cord lock mechanism

Necesitarás: cinta métrica, un destornillador pequeño de estrella, uno plano, unos alicates, guantes finos y tus nuevas persianas (pedidas con las medidas correctas). También puede ayudarte un poco de cinta aislante.
Mide el ancho interior del marco de la ventana y resta 3 mm a cada lado para un ajuste suave. Deja también al menos 2 mm de espacio frontal y trasero para el grosor de la persiana.
Pasos a seguir:
1. Retira las persianas antiguas y los herrajes
2. Marca y perfora los agujeros si no hay soportes anteriores
3. Con la persiana recogida y sujeta con cinta aislante, coloca primero la parte trasera en el soporte y luego empuja la parte delantera hasta que encaje
4. Quita la cinta y coloca la varilla giratoria
5. Instala cualquier mecanismo de bloqueo o accesorio de seguridad si es necesario
Para persianas entre cristales, hay algunos pasos adicionales: pasa el cable guía por los orificios existentes (hazlos con una broca de 7 mm si es necesario), centra la carcasa, tensa el cable tirando ligeramente de la varilla y fija el soporte. Ata la cuerda y asegura el cierre.
