Mosca is a very simple mqtt broker written in node.js. It is also available as a node for node-red.
It is an excellent alternative to mosquitto for simple applications,testing and home automation projects. and for In this video tutorial we will install the mosca mqtt broker or server, configure it and then test it.
Note: Mosca has been replace by Aedes see the tutorial on website for up to date information and setup details.
However the install is very similar to the one shown in the video.
