For solid floors, a liquid screed or concrete mix is the preferred application for underfloor heating. Applied over an insulation layer, the screed is an excellent conductor of heat and acts as a heat diffuser.

The system plates system uses the special preformed plastic plates which hold the pipes in place and are designed to protect the pipes before the screed is laid.
