Today we are taking the first step in the #proxmox tutorial series with Installing Proxmox 7 as the base machine we will use for KVM Hypervisor our various Linux machines. This is an excellent platform for being able to install, test, backup, and deploy systems for a wide variety of use cases. You can virtualize a Windows Desktop, #linux #server or variety of purpose-built machine types with very close to bare metal performance.

I also cover why I like to use Server Grade hardware for Virtualization work, but you can use almost any machine that is from the past 10 or so years. The purpose of the Linux Ground Up tutorial series is to give people real world skills and if you are working with Linux, you have a 100% chance of encountering Virtual Machines.
