Procedure:
Debian Jessie 8.6 - Install Nvidia Drivers
--------------------------------
1. add contrib and non-free to sources
2. enable 32bit architecture:
sudo dpkg --add-architecture i386

3. Run: sudo aptitude update

Install nvidia-detect:

4. sudo aptitude nvidia-detect

Run nvidia-detect to determine your gpu:

5. sudo nvidia-detect

6. then enter:

aptitude -r install linux-headers-$(uname -r|sed 's,[^-]*-[^-]*-,,') nvidia-kernel-dkms

7. then install : sudo aptitude nvidia-xconfig

8. then run: sudo nvidia-xconfig

9. Then reboot
