How to install a 3rd gen ductless MRCOOL DIY minisplit heat pump step by step. In this video we installed two 12k mini-split air conditioner units in a cafe shop and put the condenser units on the roof. We tried to film the whole installation process from start to finish. The routing of the refrigerant line set, hooking it up, mounting the air handler, sloping the drain line, swapping drain position, mounting condenser units, weather-proofing them, cutting and installing the gutter line guard covers, the electrical hook ups, operation review, and much more! All that being said though... There was a lot of going back and forth between floor 1, 2, and the roof. Also there were two people working at the same time and only one camera person (my wife) so there was some stuff that got missed but I am sure you will find at least some of the information in the video useful. 👍 Some of the sound has echo or hissing in the background and that is mostly because of background work going on.
