Hi, in this video I'm showing you how to install Garry's Mod 9 for free, with no additional games required and also - how to add content from games like Counter Strike: Source, Episodes etc.

- How to get content without having the games on Steam?
- Search for it on the internet, there are content packs ready to be installed (no GCFScape needed), however it's not legal and may not be entirely safe.
- Can I play multiplayer?
- Yes, you can. For that press "Create server" in the GMod 9 menu. You can open it for others or keep it as a local multiplayer.
- How can I install addons?
- To be honest, I have not installed any addons for that version. With maps it's simple - just paste the .bsp file into the "maps" folder. Any additional models, materials should be pasted into the "models" and "materials" directories accordingly.
- It does not work!!!!!!!!
- My quick guess is: you've installed SDK Base 2007, but actually, you need SDK Base 2006, again two thousand and six, two, zero, zero, six, 2, 0, 0, 6. NOT 7.
- Can't mount the custom content...
- Make sure you've specified the path corretly.
