In this video, I show you how to install Blizzard's BattleNet App in Solus 3, Step By Step. Hope you enjoy!
Notes:
Solus OS 3
Install BattleNet
1. sudo eopkg install dpkg (to allow install of msfonts)
2. Install MSFonts:
sudo eopkg bi --ignore-safety raw.githubusercontent.com/solus-project/3rd-party/master/desktop/font/mscorefonts/pspec.xml
To Remove:
sudo eopkg it mscorefonts*.eopkg;sudo rm mscorefonts*.eopkg
3. Install your proprietary Drivers through Driver Manager including 32 bit libraries
4. Install Gimp, VLC and Smplayer to obtain codecs
sudo eopkg install gimp vlc smplayer
5. Install Wine-Devel and Winetricks in Software Center
6. Interminal run:
winecfg
Set to Windows 2003
add: d3dcompiler_47 to libraries to allow Diablo 3
7. *Reboot*
8. In terminal run: (will install required libraries)
winetricks corefonts
winetricks hosts
winetricks vcrun2015
9. Run winecfg to verify libraries
10. Download battlenet installer from: us.battle.net/account/download
11. Right click installer and select "Open with Wine Windows Program Loader"
12. Sign in with your BattleNet account
13. Download your games
