![[FIXED] The Recovery Server Could Not Be Contacted Error! High Sierra Internet Recovery Error
Are you trying to install macOS High Sierra from recovery or internet recovery and are getting the error The recovery server could not be contacted ? THIS IS A NEW ISSUE & NOT THE DATE AND TIME OR CERT ISSUE! In this video, I will show you 3 ways to fix the issue. CHAPTERS BELOW
Command
This is the full command to run in terminal to change the apple software update server url from https to http in nvram
nvram IASUCatalogURL=http://swscan.apple.com/content/catalogs/others/index-10.13-10.12-10.11-10.10-10.9-mountainlion-lion-snowleopard-leopard.merged-1.sucatalog
URL with spaces because of YouTube formatting is removing the full URL just remove the space after each /
http://swscan.apple.com/ content/ catalogs/ others/ index-10.13-10.12-10.11-10.10-10.9-mountainlion-lion-snowleopard-leopard.merged-1.sucatalog
