Want to turn your Linux PC into a full Smart TV? In this video, I’ll show you how to install Android TV on Ubuntu/Linux using Waydroid. Unlike an emulator, Waydroid runs natively on your system, so performance is smooth and apps feel like they’re running on real hardware.

This custom Android TV build is based on LineageOS 20 (Android 13) and already comes with:
✔ Google Play Store & Play Services.
✔ Widevine L3 DRM for streaming apps.
✔ VA-API hardware acceleration for Intel & AMD GPUs.

Once installed, you’ll be able to use popular apps like YouTube, Prime Video, Hotstar, MXPlayer, Spotify, and even games — all directly on your Linux desktop.
